The Head Coach & founder of All Stars Elite Badminton is Sara Sankey.
Sara is an ex England International player with 98 caps for her country over her 18 year badminton career. Having had such fantastic career achieving so much in Badminton, Sara wanted to give something back and so, in 2002, All Stars was created.
"I was very lucky that I had fantastic parents that put my badminton first, they made me into the player I was. Now after retiring in 2002 is it time to concentrate my efforts in producing World Class players. With All Stars Elite Badminton Club, I offer structure, dedication and knowledge to be able to help players of all standard fulfill their potential and develop into a Champion".
Sara played for England Juniors from U11 all the way through to U17 and won numerous International tournaments, not to mention every National title from U11 to U17.
At the age of 17, Sara first represented England at Senior level, playing in 7 World Championships, 8 Uber Cups, 7 European Championships, 3 Commonwealth Games and 1 Olympic Games.
She has won various titles around the World and competed in most Countries.
In the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, she won Team Gold and Ladies Doubles Gold in the individual, as well as Silver in the Mixed Doubles.
In 1998 in Kuala Lumpar she won Gold in the Team event, having just come back from a very serious injury happening just 10 weeks before.
In the European Championships, she won 5 Silver Team medals, 1 Bronze Team Medal and 3 bronzes in the Ladies Doubles Individual event over three decades, in the 80's 90's and 00's.
In 2002, Sara made her final professional appearance in her beloved Lancashire, where she gained a Gold in the Team event and a Bronze in the Mixed Doubles
